As part of the Karabakh Eco Restoration Initiative, our journey led us to Fuzuli City School No. 1, named after Mirzo Ulugbek. There, we came together to exchange knowledge and practices around sustainable composting.
This collaboration began with online meetings between MTK and Fuzuli students and it grew into real, hands-on action. Inspired by these conversations, the students of Fuzuli proudly launched their own composting project in their school garden, taking active steps to heal their land and community after conflict.
To support their efforts, we brought natural fertilizer produced by our MTK compost program.
This is more than environmental education — it’s community building, restoration, and hope in action.
